As well doing the stall circuit, I’ve been catching up on some bespoke orders for this summer. I’m trying out new and different stringing materials. Here’s a peek at an order I did for a lady in our village. I’ve done it on wax cotton cord with an adjustable sliding knot. Ideal to use for making a statement piece with one centre or maybe 4 or 5 individual type beads. Leather also looks good on but I find it can stick a little, particularly in the warm weather. Remember the thicker the cord you’re using the bigger the bead holes need to be.
