June was a sophisticated lady who lived life to the full and was always fun to be around. A good listener – a rare quality these days, and her persona was infectious in that it was exuberant.
June was non-judgemental and always made the time for you – regardless of your background.
She truly lit up our writers’ room with her mass of knowledge, her wit and good humour, and her wonderful tales of Arthur and Tom.
Even when June became poorly and could hardly get about she still managed to make it to the group to entertain us with her winning smile.
June wasn’t a giver-upper and took life by the horns – full on.
I am glad to have known her as my friend and will miss her dearly,
