Ohh the power of twitter Richard E. Grant had a very public twitter rant over driving his daughter’s mini down the motorway when the power steering locked up on him.
Mini were brought to public attention in 2006 by Watchdog when 223,000 minis purchased between 2001-2007 were reported to have been investigated for power steering failures.
After the expletive laden tirade Grant was given a replacement power steering pump and is said to be currently in talks with MINI. 😛
